APSC COVID-19 Information and Resources

The Arkansas Public Service Commission is charged with the duty of ensuring that public utilities provide safe, adequate, and reliable utility service at just and reasonable rates. During this critical time in our nation, APSC is taking steps to minimize the impacts of COVID-19. We aim to keep you informed of our actions to ensure we continue to fulfill our mission.

OPERATIONS

Consistent with the Governor's Executive Order, EO 20-03 , our building remains open during normal business hours, 8:00 to 4:30 Monday through Friday, to ensure all essential State services remain available.
A significant number of our employees can and are performing their job duties by working remotely. For those employees who are working in the building, we are observing social distancing. We are discouraging person-to-person contact to the maximum extent possible.

Secretary of Commission

We are discouraging in-person filings unless absolutely required. Please call the Secretary of the Commission at 682-5782 with questions.

Consumer Services

Utilities are voluntarily suspending disconnections during this time or working to address customer needs. Please direct your questions to our Consumer Services staff at ConsumerIssues@arkansas.gov or by phone at 501-682-1718 or toll free at 1-800-482-1164.

Phone Problems

Phone systems are experiencing high volumes which may result in busy signals if you call. Please keep trying or send an email if you have this option and we will return your call as soon as possible.

General Questions

General questions should be directed to our receptionist at 501-682-2051 and we will make sure you are directed to the appropriate person to assist you.
