JOB TITLE:
PSC PIPELINE SAFETY SPECIALIST
JOB SUMMARY:
Position is assigned to the PSC General Staff - Pipeline Safety Section. Primary duties
include the inspection of natural gas facilities to ensure compliance with program requirements,
and with state and federal laws.
MIN. REQUIREMENTS:
The formal education of an associate's degree in engineering or a related field; plus four years
of experience in mechanical engineering, pipeline inspection or a related field. Other job
related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements
upon approval of Qualifications Review Committee. Work experience in the inspection of natural
gas pipelines and facilities is preferred. Significant overnight travel is required.
SALARY:
State Pay Plan Grade C120

JOB TITLE:
PSC Rate Case Analyst
JOB SUMMARY:
Position is assigned to the PSC General Staff – Electric Section. Primary duties include the review and
analysis of utility company filings and presentation of testimony before the Arkansas Public Service
Commission.
MIN. REQUIREMENTS:
The formal education equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related
business field; plus three years of experience in rate analysis, financial analysis, economic forecasting,
or related filed. A CPA, MBA, or advanced business degree is preferred. Other job related education and/or
experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements upon approval of the
Qualifications Review Committee.
Proven analytical abilities and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this
position.
SALARY:
State Pay Plan Grade C121
