JOB TITLE:
PAYROLL SERVICES COORDINATOR

JOB SUMMARY:
Position is assigned to the PSC Commission Staff – Fiscal Section. Position works under administrative direction and is responsible for developing payroll procedures and requirements, provides technical assistance to organization administration and counsels employees regarding payroll policies, tax changes, retirement information and insurance options.

MIN. QUALIFICATIONS:
The formal education equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration or related field plus three years of experience in payroll services activities or related area, including one year in a supervisory capacity Other job related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements upon approval of the Qualifications Review Committee.

Preferred qualifications include experience with the Arkansas Administrative Statewide Information System (AASIS)

SALARY:
State Pay Plan Grade C119

JOB TITLE:
PUBLIC UTILITY AUDITOR

JOB SUMMARY:
Position is assigned to the General Staff - Audits Section. Primary duties include auditing utility companies and analyzing utility company filings as directed, developing or assisting in the development of Staff’s position and the presentation of testimony on various regulatory issues. Out-of-state travel is required.

MIN. QUALIFICATIONS:
The formal education equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, plus two years of experience in auditing or financial analysis. Other job related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements upon approval of Qualifications Review Committee. Certified Public Accountants are preferred.

State Pay Plan Grade C119

JOB TITLE:
PSC Rate Case Analyst

JOB SUMMARY:
Position is assigned to the PSC General Staff – Electric Section. Primary duties include the review and analysis of utility company filings and presentation of testimony before the Arkansas Public Service Commission.

MIN. QUALIFICATIONS:
The formal education equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related business field; plus three years of experience in rate analysis, financial analysis, economic forecasting, or related field. A CPA, MBA, or advanced business degree is preferred. Other job related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements upon approval of the Qualifications Review Committee.

Proven analytical abilities and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this position.

SALARY:
State Pay Grade C121
