JOB TITLE:
Rate Analyst I
JOB SUMMARY:
Position is assigned to the PSC General Staff – Gas &
Water Section. Primary duties include analysis of gas and
water utilities financial statements, preparation of reports,
testimony and exhibits.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
The formal education equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics,
finance or a related business field; plus one year of experience in analyzing
financial information and statistical data.
Experience in the analysis of utility companies is desirable. Proven analytical
abilities and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for
this position. Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word required. Certified
Public Accountants or advanced degree preferred
SALARY:
State Pay Plan Grade 18
