JOB TITLE:
PSC Rate Case Analyst

JOB SUMMARY:
Position is assigned to the PSC General Staff – Gas & Water Section. Primary duties include analysis of gas and water utilities financial statements, preparation of reports, testimony and exhibits.

MIN. QUALIFICATIONS:
The formal education equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, finance or a related field; plus three years of experience in rate analysis, financial analysis, economic forecasting, or related field. A CPA, MBA or advanced business degree is preferred. Other job related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements upon approval of Qualifications Review Committee.

Proven analytical abilities and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this position.

SALARY:
State Pay Plan Grade C121

JOB TITLE:
ATTORNEY SPECIALIST

JOB SUMMARY:
Position is assigned to the APSC General Staff. Primary duties include preparing and presenting cases before the Commission, other regulatory agencies and courts; handling appeals to appropriate courts; providing advice and counsel; and acting as a hearing officer in limited circumstances; other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Licensed to practice law and admitted to the Arkansas State Bar in accordance with ACA 16-22-201. The formal education equivalent of a law degree from an accredited law school; plus three years of experience in law. Applicants with prior utility regulatory and litigation experience are preferred. Other job related education and/or may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements except for licensure requirements upon approval of the qualifications review committee.

State Pay Grade C126
