MANAGER OF AUDITS

JOB SUMMARY:
Position is assigned to the General Staff - Audits Section. Primary duties include auditing utility companies and analyzing utility company filings, developing or assisting in the development of Staff’s position and the presentation of testimony on various regulatory issues

MIN. QUALIFICATIONS:
The formal education equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance or a related field, plus six years of experience in financial valuation. Preferred qualifications include CPA, six years progressively more responsible experience in auditing utilities, including two years in a professional managerial capacity Experience testifying as a subject matter expert subject to cross examination. Demonstrated knowledge of revenue requirement development and models Other job related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements upon approval of Qualifications Review Committee.

SALARY:
State pay grade GS12

JOB TITLE:
COMPLAINTS INVESTIGATOR SUPERVISOR

JOB SUMMARY:
Position is assigned to the PSC General Staff - Consumer Services Section. This position is responsible for supervising employees with the resolution or referral of customer complaints and/or questions regarding State-regulated utilities and performing related administrative duties.

MIN. QUALIFICATIONS:
The formal education equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in general business, office administration or related field; plus three years of experience in data collection or customer assistance activities, including two years in a supervisory or leadership capacity. Other job related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements.

State pay grade GS07

JOB TITLE:
PSC RATE CASE ANALYST

JOB SUMMARY:
Position is assigned to the PSC Commissioner’s Staff Research and Policy Section. Primary duties include the review and analysis of utility company filings and presentation of testimony before the Arkansas Public Service Commission.

MIN. QUALIFICATIONS:
The formal education equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field; plus three years of experience in rate analysis, financial analysis, economic forecasting or a related field. A CPA, MBA, or advanced business degree is preferred. Proven analytical abilities and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this position. Other job related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements upon approval of Qualifications Review Committee.

SALARY:
State pay grade GS09
